Students are responsible to understand and follow all rules in the student handbook in addition to classroom rules and expectations below.
Classroom Rules and Expectations:
1. Must be in the classroom when the bell rings
2. Cell phones are to be put away
3. Bring material to class (computer, book, paper, pencil/pen, etc.)
4. Listen and follow directions
5. When you don't understand or have a question, raise your hand
6. Food or drink with teacher permission only
7. Show respect toward adults and fellow students
8. Turn in assignments on time
9. Stay awake in class
10. Only bags allowed - Computer bag and purses.
11. Wear ID at all times
Consequences for Disruptive Behavior:
1st Offense: A verbal warning will be given when a minor classroom or school rule is broken, unless the discipline code calls for a referral.
2nd Offense: A 2nd verbal warning will be given and a "Conference Only" slip will be submitted to the office.
3rd Offense: Office Referral
Severe Behavior:
Severely disruptive behavior such as repeated disruptions, fighting, cursing, physical assault, or verbal abuse of staff or another student will result in immediate referral to the office or school security officer.
Absent Policy:
It is your responsibility to ask me what was missed while you were absent.
You will have 2 days after you were absent to make up all work missed.
If you miss class on the day we have a test or project, please see me IMMEDIATELY to schedule a time to make it up.
You will be graded in the following areas:
Classwork / Homework
Quizzes
Tests
Projects
